From
Hastings town centre: Take the A2101 towards London, until you reach a roundabout after a railway bridge. Here take
the 3rd exit up the hill, and continue for 150 metres. Take the 2nd exit at the mini roundabout part way up the hill,
Follow the road round (approx another 150 metres) and Calvert can be found on your right, shortly after the second pelican
crossing.
From London & M25: Take Junction 5 on the M25 signposted Sevenoaks &
Hastings A21. Follow this road all the way to the outskirts of Hastings. As you approach Hastings you should pass Blackbrooks
Garden Centre, keep following the A21 up the hill and you will see signs for Ashford and the A28, keep going down the A21
under a bridge, past Sainsbury's on your right and you will eventually reach a roundabout. Continue straight ahead and
you will reach a second roundabout. Take the 1st exit signposted Town Centre A2101. Follow this down the hill and along by
the side of Alexandra Park. You will eventually get to the roundabout with the railway bridge mentioned above which will
be in front of you. Take 1st exit and now follow directions as from Hastings Town Centre.
By Train:
There
are regular trains to Hastings & Ore Stations which are shown on the map above. These depart from London Charing Cross
via. Tunbridge Wells, London Victoria & Brighton via. Lewes & Eastbourne and Ashford International which allows for
travelling to/from Europe via. Eurostar. There are also occasional trains from London Cannon Street which also go via. Tunbridge
Wells at peak times. To get to Calvert from Hastings, follow directions as from Hastings Town Centre above. From Ore Station
follow exit up the hill and turn left continuing up Hughenden Road till you reach Mount Pleasant Road. Calvert will be directly
in front of you on the other side of the pelican crossing.
